The Postside Handrail Bracket is used when transitioning from a 36″ tall system on an angle, to a 39″ or 42″ tall system on a balcony or landing.
If you are purchasing Aluminum or 304 Stainless posts simply purchase the 316 Stainless option (which is suitable for outdoor use).
